The coronation of King Charles III is set to take place on May 7th, 2023. Various well-known singers and bands are slated to perform on this special day. But until now, the search for the perfect line-up has encountered a few obstacles.
As reported by Marie Claire, The Daily Mail and The Sun, big stars such as Elton John, Harry Styles, Adele and Ed Sheeran are said to have declined. Reportedly the Spice Girls, who were supposed to perform, are now out of the picture.

A source told The Sun: "Organisers are working against the clock to pull together an exciting line-up but have hit a series of challenges."

However, both Elton John, who is one of King Charles' favorites, and Harry Styles have a good reason to cancel the invitation. Both singers are on tour at the time and therefore cannot make it to Windsor Castle in time, as the insider continued to report.
However, Kylie Minogue and the boy band Take That are now in the mix. The latter has already performed for the royals at the concert for Diana in 2007. Lionel Richie could also be at the Coronation of King Charles III.
