Duchess Kate officially has a new sister-in-law. Her brother James Middleton recently married his wife Alizée Thevenet.
The couple tied the knot in the south of France back on Sept. 11. So, who is Alizée Thevenet? Let's get to know the sister-in-law of the Duchess of Cambridge.
Who is Alizée Thevenet, the wife of James Middleton?
Alizée is a French financial professional who studied investment and finance in London. She's worked in the London financial sector for several years.
According to media reports, Duchess Kate's new sister-in-law speaks three languages: English, Spanish, and her native French. She has lived in Germany, Indonesia, Chile, Belgium, England, and France.
On Instagram, Alizée gives insight into her life, which she seems to be enjoying to the fullest. Her page is filled with photos of animals, nature, and occasional appearances from James.
After first meeting in 2018, the couple hit it off right away. They bonded over their love of dogs. James told The Telegraph that they even met at an exclusive members' club after his dog Ella approached Alizée.
The pair made their first public appearance at the wedding of Lady Gabriella Windsor and Thomas Kingston in May 2019.
It seems things got serious quickly, because James announced their engagement in the autumn of 2019. They planned to marry not long after but had to wait until September 2021 due to the pandemic.
