- After the death of the Queen, the line of succession to the throne changes
- Prince Charles is now King Charles III
- These are the other heirs to the throne
The British line of succession to the throne changed with the death of Queen Elizabeth II and the rise of Charles to the throne. Now Prince William is the next heir to the throne, followed by his three children George, Charlotte and Louis in second, third and fourth place.
Prince Harry and his children also move up a place. He is fifth in line to the throne, with Archie Harrison and Lilibet Diana sixth and seventh respectively.
Eighth is Queen Elizabeth II's second son and third child Prince Andrew, followed by his firstborn daughter Beatrice and her daughter Sienna, who completes the top 10 in the line of succession.
Andrew precedes his big sister, Princess Anne, as when she was born there was still a law in place that gave preference to men in the line of succession.
Also Interesting:
Today that is no longer the case. That's why Princess Charlotte is also in the line of succession ahead her younger brother Louis.
