Great concern for King Charles III: the 75-year-old has to go into the hospital. The news shocked Royal fans as it came just hours after it was revealed that Princess Kate (42) was also in hospital for an operation.

King Charles needs an operation

However, the reason for King Charles' visit to the clinic doesn't seem to be too worrying. Buckingham Palace released a statement on Wednesday, January 17th according to 'People': "In common with thousands of men each year, The King has sought treatment for an enlarged prostate," they said.

"His Majesty's condition is benign, and he will attend hospital next week for a corrective procedure." Adding, "The King’s public engagements will be postponed for a short period of recuperation."
