Prince Charles and Princess Anne looked like they were happy to be in one another's company during the special event, seen having lively conversation. Both royals also dressed to impress! Charles wore a navy pinstripe suit, with a collared shirt and grey patterned tie. As for Anne, she was seen in a dark green dress with gold buttons, and a matching gold brooch.
As Hello! shares, the special presentation saw Charles and Anne recognize 21 different universities and colleges across the United Kingdom. With 2022 being the first year the Prizes have been awarded since the pandemic began, it makes sense that the institutions who have played pivotal roles in this unprecedented situation were recognized.
Also interesting:
Prince Charles and Princess Anne do not usually step out for royal engagements together, as both are often seen with various other members of the royal family instead. This is why the fact that Charles and Anne have made an appearance together is so significant! It's also the Prince of Wales' first engagement since he recovered from COVID a second time.
