2018 was jam-packed with royal happenings, but the fun isn't over, here's what we have to look forward to in 2019:
Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan will become first-time parents
Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan will become parents for the first time in early 2019. The Sussexes announced that they were expecting their first child whilst in Australia on their first royal tour as a married couple in October 2018.
Prince Louis will turn one
Moving on to royal baby number two, Prince Louis will celebrate his first birthday in 2019 and we're hoping that that might mean more royal portraits!
Princess Charlotte will start primary school
Prince Louis isn't the only Cambridge we think is too cute to be true! Princess Charlotte (3) started preschool in 2018, but in September 2019 she will be starting primary school. While there has been no official announcement made about which school she will be attending, many royal experts predict she will be starting at Thomas's Battersea, which is where Prince George (5) goes to school.
There will be another Royal wedding!
2019 will also see another royal wedding. Lady Gabriella Windsor and Thomas Kingston will be tying the knot in spring 2019. In contrast to the media circus that surrounded Harry and Meghan's wedding however, it is set to be a private affair, although the happy couple will be following in both the Sussexes and Princess Eugenie's footsteps and getting married in St. George's Chapel in Windsor.
Meghan and Harry will move into their new home
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex will be moving out of Kensington Palace and into Frogmore Cottage in Windsor in early 2019. The cottage is a lot bigger than your average cottage and boasts ten bedrooms. Harry and Meghan will have more room there, which they will no doubt need once their first born arrives in spring 2019. According to The Sun, they want to transform one of the bedrooms into a gym and yoga studio. The house also has five separate apartments for staff.
