'Monk': Murder in the family
The latest trailer for 'Monk' has just been unveiled. In the film, titled 'Mr. Monk's Last Case: A Monk Movie,' the retired "Adrian Monk" (played by Tony Shalhoub) is pulled back into detective action when a murder occurs within his own family, rekindling his investigative instincts.
Tony Shalhoub, at 70, charmingly and humorously embodies the obsessive-compulsive disorder of "Monk" in the film. The character's unique fears, meticulously arranged in a hierarchy, continue to play a significant role in the storyline.
More popular retro series:
"Germs, needles, birds, then heights", lists assistant "Natalie Teeger" (Traylor Howard) in the trailer. However, "Monk" is not alone this time, the film also addresses the impact of the coronavirus pandemic, adding a contemporary layer to the detective's adventures.
