'Euphoria' Music

Euphoria's music and soundtrack are incredibly fitting to the Emmy-winning HBO series! While musician Labrinth created the musical score for the series, the soundtrack has an amazing mix of older retro songs and modern-day rap/pop songs...

One of the fan-favorite songs from Euphoria is "Forever" by Labrinth. Labrinth actually scored the entire soundtrack for the HBO series, and was scouted by director Sam Levinson. The singer-songwriter-producer is a London-based musician who creates an eclectic platter of sounds. 

Canadian singer Charlotte Day Wilson brought out her incredible vocals for this one! The Toronto beauty is a blues and soul singer who has won a few prizes and awards for her music! "Work" comes from her second EP titled CDW, which was released in 2016. 

Rappers Jozzy and Tommy Genesis collaborated for the single "I'm Gone". Tommy, also from Toronto, is considered an underground rap queen. While definitely different from Labrinth's or Charlotte Day Wilson's songs, "I'm Gone" brings an upbeat yet rebellious sound into Euphoria. 

Another one from Labrinth, he mixes an infusion of hip hop, electronic and jazz. His songs can go from smooth to intense pretty quick! Just like Euphoria itself. "Mount Everest" was played in episode 2 of the series. 

Talk about a throwback with this one! "Stuntin' Like My Daddy" was one of the biggest hits of the early 2000's, which is by Birdman and Lil Wayne... it's no wonder why they'd include such a hard-hitter classic as part of their soundtrack! 

As one of the executive producers of Euphoria, it goes without saying that Drake made the soundtrack! His rap hit "Nonstop" appeared on Season 1 Episode 3, and is originally off of his album Scorpion (2018). 

Another banger in season 1 episode 3 is Doja Cat's famed "Juicy" song! Doja Cat has been incredibly popular over the last year as a singer and rapper, more so the latter, and we can't help but wonder if Euphoria helped kick-off her career in mainstream media! 

In this heartwrenching piece, Randy Newman brings a melancholic tone to episode 5 with "Same Girl". If this song doesn't make you tear, what will?

One of the biggest albums of 2019 was Solange's When I Get Home album. "Stay Flo" made it onto episode 8 of season 1 as "Jules" puts makeup on "Rue" for a dance... and it fits perfectly into the scene. The whole album is gold if you haven't listened to it yet!
