Destiny's Child was one of the most successful girl groups back in the 2000s, which is not surprising since it combined the talents of three fabulous singers: Beyoncé Knowles, Kelly Rowland, and Michelle Williams.
Together they released five studio albums, embarked on epic world tours, and won three Grammy Awards; however, the three female stars decided to continue their careers independently in the mid-2000s and since then we have heard a lot about the beautiful Beyoncé, but lately we have been wondering about Michelle Williams and Kelly Rowland's career: Where are they now? What have they been up to?
Destiny's Child: What has Kelly Rowland done lately?
After Destiny's Child, Kelly Rowland released Here I Am and Talk a Good Game, two R&B pop albums that fans absolutely loved. But the American singer has also built an outstanding career in film and television, appearing for instance in the American romantic comedy Think Like A Man, alongside comedian Kevin Hart, and most recently in the drama television show American Soul, as well as in The Voice (Australia), where she is currently one of the judges.
Kelly started to date her manager Tim Weatherspoon in 2011, and they got married in 2014. And it seems that her personal life is as successful as her professional life since in 2017 she also published a book called Whoa, Baby!: A Guide for New Moms Who Feel Overwhelmed and Freaked Out (and Wonder What the #*$& Just Happened.)
Destiny's Child: Where is Michelle Williams now?
After Destiny's Child the gorgeous Michelle released her first album Unexpected, which features the internationally charting single "We Break the Dawn", and in 2014 she released Journey to Freedom, a contemporary gospel album that got only positive critics. However, Michelle has also appeared in different films and television shows like the 2018 American family sitcom Raven's Home, and most recently in the 2019 BET series American Soul portraying Diana Ross.
Williams, who was once engaged to the professional sports chaplain Chad Johnson, has also worked in Broadway plays; she played the role of "Erzulie" in the one-act-musical Once on This Island from 2018 to 2019.
