The Go-Go's

The Go-Go's formed in 1978 and became famous in the '80s with songs like "Our Lips Are Sealed" and "We Got the Beat." They were one of the few all-girl groups in a mostly guy-dominated music scene, but they didn't care. After they split in 1985, each member did their own thing.
