This morning the list of nominees for the 2020 Billboard Music Awards was announced, where the American singer and rapper Post Malone dominated the count with 16 nominations. Also on the list of contenders are artists such as Billie Eilish, Taylor Swift, Ariana Grande, Lizzo, Lil Nas X, J Balvin, Bad Bunny, Anuel AA, Ozuna, BTS and the Jonas Brothers, among others. The ceremony will take place on October 14 in Los Angeles, California.

Post Malone, famous for hits like "Rockstar" and "Circles", led the list of nominations for the Billboard Music Awards with 16 nominations, including Male Artist, Top Streaming Song for "Sunflower" and Top Rap Album for Hollywood’s Bleeding.
In the main category, Top Artist, Malone will face the Jonas Brothers, Billie Eilish, Khalid, and Taylor Swift, who were also nominated in multiple categories.
Eilish, known for the song "Bad Guy", and Khalid came in with 12 nominations, while Taylor Swift is in 6 categories. Singer Lil Nas X, responsible for the hit "Old Town Road", received 13 mentions and Lizzo, the popular singer of "Juice", is listed 11 times.
J Balvin and Bad Bunny, among the Latin artists nominated for the Billboard Music Awards
In the Latin category, J Balvin and Bad Bunny conquered the list with 5 and 4 nominations, respectively.
Balvin appears among the contenders for Top Latino Artist, Top Latino Song for "China" and "Don't Know Me"; Top Dance Song/Electronic for "Rhythm" and Top Latino Album for Oasis, a nomination that he shares with Bad Bunny. For Bad Bunny, he hopes to win the awards for Top Latino Artist and Top Latino Song with the songs "Callaita" and "Don't Know Me."
The Billboard Music Awards, hosted by Kelly Clarkson, will take place on October 14 at the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles.
