The ACM Awards will be going ahead as planned... at least for the time being! On Wednesday, the Academy of Country Music Awards revealed its star-studded lineup of performers. Miranda Lambert is set to headline the show, with both a solo and group performance.

The latter comes as Lambert will be joining Lindsay Ell, Caylee Hammack, Elle King, Ashley McBryde, and Tenille Townes for a special rendition of the song "Fooled Around and Fell in Love". Also on the list of performers is Keith Urban, who was announced last month as host of the 2020 ACM Awards.

ACM Awards release statement on coronavirus concerns
While the ACM Awards are currently scheduled to go ahead as planned, as Entertainment Tonight reports, the Academy of Country Music issued a joint statement with dick clark productions addressing the coronavirus situation.
"We are closely monitoring the situation along with the MGM team, who are in continuous contact with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the Southern Nevada Health District, and other agencies and experts for guidance," the statement reads. "We will take every precaution to ensure the safety of our artists, staff, crew, guests and attendees".
