Angelina Jolie (49) has once again solidified her status as a style icon. At the premiere of her new film 'Maria' in Los Angeles at the end of October, the actress showcased a breathtaking ensemble.

She donned a flowing beige silk dress paired with a light, scarf-like black jacket. However, it was her hairstyle that truly turned heads: instead of her signature straight locks or elegant updos, Jolie chose voluminous, loose beach waves with a chic side parting.

Her striking new look was enhanced by eye-catching earrings, bold red lipstick, and subtle eye makeup. Her manicure perfectly complemented her lipstick, with vibrant red nails completing the stunning ensemble.

In the biopic 'Maria', directed by Pablo Larraín, Angelina Jolie takes on the role of the legendary opera singer Maria Callas. The film explores Callas’ retreat to Paris after a glamorous yet tumultuous life in the spotlight, following her final days as she grapples with her identity.

Callas, celebrated for her remarkable three-octave soprano voice, passed away from a heart attack in Paris in 1977 at the age of 53. Jolie dedicated months to intensive preparation for this challenging role.

On the red carpet, the Hollywood star spoke to 'People' about her connection to the character: "I know there are certain things that people would assume from the distance that we have in common, but I think what we have in common maybe is that we share a certain loneliness in kind of sometimes doing our work where we're the one, I don't know, up at night, alone, trying to figure something out"

She added, "I don't want to speak too much about it because it's too personal, but there's definitely a loneliness and a work ethic."
