Zelda Williams Honors Dad Robin Williams
Adorably sweet and silly Zelda Williams has come up with a knee-slapping way to honor her dad Robin Williams on his birthday. Since the Mrs. Doubtfire star would have been 69 years old, she decided to donate to as many homeless shelters as she could and in a way that would make her dad laugh. Each shelter is getting $69.69!
Gorgeous and big-hearted Zelda posted to Twitter explaining her fun way of giving back and said "Join me if you like, but regardless, know I am wishing you all at least one hearty, immature belly laugh on Dad today."
The Good Morning Vietnam actor's daughter posted receipts with the hilarious number on them and implored fans who have the means to do the same. At one point her credit card company even became suspicious!
She ended up donating to many shelters like the San Francisco LGBTQ centers, Midnight Mission, and Union Rescue Mission and even inspired fans to give back. One fan donated $15 to a local shelter in honor of her dad, posted the screenshot and said "Happy birthday to your dad, wish I had more to share," to which Zelda replied by donating to the charity he donated to and said "I've got you covered! Have a wonderful rest of your day."
Countless fans Tweeted her screenshots of their $69.69 donations in her late father's name. What a great way to remember her comedian father, a man who brought laughter to millions is still bringing laughs after he's gone.
Happy 69th Birthday, Robin!
