Zayn Malik

Zayn Malik is a British singer and songwriter, known worldwide as part of the boy band One Direction.

Zayn Malik became world-famous in 2010 with the boy band One Direction. Together with Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, Liam Payne and Niall Horan, he took third place on the reality show The X Factor. Despite the defeat, the band received a recording deal and became one of the most successful bands in the world.

In 2015 Zayn Malik left the boy band because he wanted to focus on a career as a solo artist. He also said that he wanted to be “a normal 22-year-old”. Thus, Malik was no longer involved in the band's fifth studio album, "Made in the AM". He is now a successful soloist and has already released several singles.

Zayn Malik had relationships with The X Factor participants Geneva Lane and Rebecca Ferguson in 2010 and 2011. He also had a romance with actress Stephanie Davis.

Then he was in a relationship with Little Mix singer Perrie Edwards, with whom he even became engaged. In 2015, however, the couple broke off the engagement. Since the end of 2015, Zayn has been with the model Gigi Hadid with a short break. Their first child was born in 2020. Their daughter is named Khai.
