Zachery Bryan faces charges of strangulation, fourth-degree assault, and interfering with making a report, following an alleged incident that occurred on Friday, Oct. 16.
The 39-year-old former actor was arrested after an investigation and booked early on Saturday morning, according to People. The charges involve an allegedly violent dispute with Bryan's girlfriend, an unidentified 27-year-old woman.

People reported the following statement, made by a Eugene Police Department spokesperson: "An investigation found that during the dispute Bryan is reported to have assaulted the victim, impeded her breathing, and taken the victim's phone from her when she tried to call 911."
Police reportedly attended the scene after neighbours called 911. The troubling charges relate to Bryan's current girlfriend and not his longtime wife, with whom he shares three children. Bryan had been married to Carly Matros since 2007, but the couple split in early October.
Zachery Bryan, Home Improvement child star, charged
Bryan, a former actor, is best known for his main role as "Brad Taylor" on Home Improvement (1991-1999). The now 39-year-old continued to act for a decade after the sitcom ended, but he quit acting in 2009.
On Oct. 1, the ex-actor shared a since-deleted post announcing his and wife Carly's breakup. "Almost Fourteen years as best friends, soulmates, partners and then parents. It has been an incredible journey, but together, we've decided to turn the page and move on from our marriage," he wrote.
"As we enter into this next chapter, our children and relationship as co-parents and dear friends will remain our priority. We understand this news lends itself to public dialogue, but in the interest of our children and our family, we’re asking for privacy, compassion and love during this time. Thank you."
As People's report adds, it's thought that Bryan remains in custody.
