Naomi Judd died by suicide days before Mother's Day
Wynonna and Ashley Judd announced the terrible news about their mother on April 30. "Today we sisters experienced a tragedy. We lost our beautiful mother to the disease of mental illness," they said in a statement.
"We are shattered. We are navigating profound grief and know that as we loved her, she was loved by her public," added the Judd sisters. "We are in unknown territory."
