For years now, hockey fans have seen William Nylander tear it up with the Toronto Maple Leafs. But we're less familiar with the Swedish NHLer's life away from the rink. Nylander is a private guy, and many are curious: does he have a girlfriend?

Of course, fans know a few people in William Nylander's life. His father is former NHL star Michael Nylander and his brother is fellow hockey player Alex Nylander. But William has never opened up about having a lady in his life.

Nevertheless, there is quite a bit of William Nylander girlfriend gossip. If you're curious, a few names in the rumour mill are Philippa Soderberg and Penny Liarakos.
But, again, those are rumours. On his Instagram, William Nylander once set fans into a frenzy when he posted a picture of himself walking dogs with a girl.
The 2021 photo didn't show his friend's face, however, and that's about as close as Nylander has come to introducing a special someone.
William Nylander is in his mid-20s, so he still has plenty of time to figure out his life off the ice.
The Swedish NHL star was actually born in Calgary, Alberta, but grew up in the US and Sweden. Like fellow NHLer Elias Pettersson, Nylander represents Sweden in international hockey competitions.
