- Sandra Bullock is a celebrated American actress
- Her partner Bryan Randall has passed away
- This was the man by her side
Sandra Bullock (59) is not only professionally but also privately very successful. But her personal life hasn't always been easy. Specially her romantic life. However, since 2015, the actress had been involved with American photographer Bryan Randall (57), but kept their love mostly private. And for good reason! Sandra has been bitten in the past.
THIS is how they met
It was pretty much love at first sight. The couple met in January 2015 at the birthday party of Sandra Bullock's son Louis (13), and Bryan Randall shot the photos that day. Bryan made quite an impression on her. Shortly thereafter, the two began a relationship and made it public. That same year, the actress adopted her second child Laila (10) and the photographer also brought his adult daughter Skylar Staten Rendall (29) into the relationship.
Besides being a successful photographer, Randall also worked as a model.
In public, Sandra hardly ever spoke about their relationship, but in an interview at the 'Red Table Talk' in 2021, Sandra Bullock said this: "He is the role model I would want my children to have," and "I have found the love of my life.“
It all ended too soon
Although they never married, for a total of eight years, Bryan Randall and the Hollywood actress led a very happy relationship. But it wasn't always easy.
The photographer was suffering from ALS, and had his fight against the disease, from which he has now died. But the couple never made it public at all. Randall suffered from the incurable muscle and nerve disease amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, or ALS for short, which destroys nerves and causes muscle paralysis.
Also interesting:
The family of Bryan Randall made the news of his passing public to 'People' magazine: "It is with great sadness that we share that on Aug. 5, Bryan Randall passed away peacefully after a three-year battle with ALS.“
Last year, Bullock had announced she was hanging up her acting career for the time being. In an interview with 'Entertainment Tonight,' she shared that she wanted to be with her family more than she had been. She did not reveal at the time how long the break would last.
But now it's clear that Sandra was looking after Bryan. Sadly, he has lost his battle.
