Chicago-born Antwon Tanner didn't slow down his television career when One Tree Hill ended eight years ago. The actor has a main role in the Adult Swim series, Black Jesus, which portrays a modern-day Jesus trying to assist people in the crime-ridden Compton. The series just premiered its third season this past September.
Antwon has also made appearances on prominent shows like Lucifer, NCIS: Los Angeles and The Rookie. In 2018, "Skills" had a mini-OTH reunion with former castmates Hilarie Burton, Robert Buckley, Danneel Ackles in the holiday film, The Christmas Contract. Then in 2019, Tanner starred in another Christmas TV-film again with Burton and other OTH alum Tyler Hilton in a A Christmas Wish.
Antwon still hangs out with the One Tree Hill gang, and it makes us SO happy.
He was even at Hilarie Burton's wedding, whom he refers to as his sister!
Antwon Tanner also starred opposite of the mom of James Lafferty's character "Nathan" in A Christmas Wish - Barbara Alyn Woods.
Everything seems to come full circle with the One Tree Hill cast and we're here for it. We hope to see more reunions of the all-star crew... whether in movies or in wedding pictures!
