- Wednesday is a hit Netflix series
- Christina Ricci starred in the role years ago
- Learn more about what we can expect in season 2
Christina Ricci, who starred as "Wednesday" in both Addams Family films back in the '90s, plays the role of teacher "Marilyn Thornhill" in the Netflix adaptation.
Does that mean it's over for her after season one? After all, at the end of the season, her character was revealed as a villain who was attacked by bees and apparently died.
Christina Ricci doesn't reject a possible return
In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, the actress talks about whether we'll see "Marilyn" again in season two:
"I don't think I'm allowed to say that. If it's up to me, my door is open. It was so much fun to play her! It's always so much fun to play a villain," Christina admits.

So what should we make of this statement? At least Christina Ricci doesn't seem to be opposed to being part of Wednesday in season two as well.
However, fans will have to wait a little longer for an official confirmation. The suspense remains!
