Weddings are usually a very happy occasion for the parents of the bride and groom. Sharon Osbourne is wishing her son, Jack Osbourne, safe travels on the "beautiful ride" to come. And she would know all about what entails a long-lasting marriage as she has been married to Ozzy Osbourne for 41 years now.
As a mother she wishes Jack all the luck in the world as every couple needs these days. The former co-host of 'The Talk', 70, toasted Jack, 37, on Thursday with a heartfelt Instagram tribute, arriving just a week after his private wedding with now-wife Aree Gearhart, 32.
Jack is starting a new life
Sharon shared Jack's wedding photo featuring the recently wed duo under a canopy of trees. She couldn't help but express just how excited she is for the pair's next steps in life. "Bursting with joy for @jackosbourne and @seecreature," Osbourne wrote on Instagram. "Enjoy the beautiful ride ahead and welcome to the family."
And with that it's official. It's nice to see Jack settle down after what many have considered a turbulent upbringing for him. Now it seems he has really come into his own as a man.
Mama Sharon couldn't be more over the moon
Several fans and friends of the Osbournes commented along with Sharon, including Gearhart herself, who wrote to her mother-in-law: "love you." As previously reported, the pair secretly wed at the San Ysidro Ranch in California earlier this month, as both Gearhart and Jack shared the same wedding pic to their own Instagram accounts.
"Something really cool happened. I married the most amazing woman I’ve ever met. All in," Jack captioned the photo. His wife wrote under her post: "snuck away and married my best friend last week. i am honored to be your wife. all in forever"

Nearly four years ago, Jack and Gearhart stepped out for their first public outing as a couple at the American Music Awards in November 2019. Two years later, they got engaged. During the announcement of their engagement on Instagram in 2021, Jack called his now-wife the "most beautiful and loving woman I've ever met," and wrote that he was "so excited to walk through this one with her."
"Today my best friend asked me to marry him in a magical winter wonderland," Gearhart added. "I'll love you forever and then some @jackosbourne. my soulmate, my adventure partner, my protector. i'm ready for forever w you + our tribe."
And then they added to their numbers and became a family. The couple welcomed their first child together in July 2022. Jack also has three elder daughters with ex-wife Lisa Stelly. When his youngest was born, he wrote that his now-wife and baby were "doing great and are happy and healthy."
As far grandma Sharon...she's having a great time with all of this! In an Instagram post shared earlier this month, she posed with her five little ones — Kelly Osbourne's son Sidney, and all four of Jack's kids — for a sweet family photo. Doesn't she look happier than ever here?
