Teresa Mary Palmer was born on February 26, 1986, in Adelaide, Australia. When she was just 9 years old, she became inspired to pursue a career as an actress after watching the film A Little Princess! This led to her starting acting lessons, and when she was 19, Palmer made the big move to Los Angeles.

She landed on Hollywood's radar after her breakout role in the 2006 drama 2:37, where she played "Melody". The Australian actress also had notable roles in Disney's Bedtime Stories and The Sorcerer's Apprentice, as well as sci-fi action movie I Am Number Four and the rom-com Take Me Home Tonight

Palmer had one of her most memorable roles in 2013, when she starred in the zombie rom-com Warm Bodies. In the film she plays "Julie," who helps bring out the humanity in Nicholas Hoult's unusual zombie "R". Warm Bodies received mostly positive reviews— even being nominated for a Saturn Award for Best Horror Film!

Palmer has appeared in several exciting projects since Warm Bodies was released! In 2015, she played "Karen" in King of Cups, and starred in the 2016 romance The Choice. She also appeared in Oscar-nominated drama Hacksaw Ridge the same year as "Dorothy," the love interest of Andrew Garfield's character.

Recently, Palmer starred in the television series A Discovery of Witches, which is an adaptation of Deborah Harkness's popular book series by the same name! Playing the lead role of "Diana Bishop," Palmer is attached to the supernatural drama show for all three seasons starting in 2018.

When it comes to Palmer's personal life, she married actor Mark Webber in 2013. The couple has three children together— Forest Sage, Bodhi Rain, and Poet Lake!
