Travis Kelce: "I’m the man in the situation"
The couple that people can't stop talking about: Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce. The two have only been dating for a month, but already are a fan favourite of the pop icon's.
While on a recent trip to New York, the football star took on the role not only of boyfriend, but also as personal security. Travis spoke about this on his podcast 'New Heights With Jason and Travis Kelce', which he hosts with his brother.
“I feel like whenever I’m on a date, I’m always having the sense that I’m the man in the situation, I’m like protective," he explains. "You always kind of have that feeling or self-awareness I guess".
Travis was seen opening car doors for Taylor, walking close to her side and watching for any possible situation. Not to knock Taylor Swift's actual bodyguards, whom Travis speaks highly of on the podcast.
“They’re great, they’re great, they’re good people," he says.

Taylor and Travis went on dates in the city, the highlight likely being their surprise guest appearances on the season premiere of 'Saturday Night Live'.
"It was electric to be back in that place. There is just something about being in that room," Travis says about bing on the 'SNL' set. "And being their first episode this season, I had such a freaking blast man".
