Former NFL football player, Ryan Mallett passed away at the age of 35. According to the Okaloosa County Sheriff's Office, "Mallett died in an apparent drowning," off of a beach in Florida.
Football Player Ryan Mallett Tragically Dies
Ryan played for Arkansas as a quarterback and also spent time playing for New England, Houston, and Baltimore. He played a total of five seasons in the NFL. After retiring from professional football, he was coaching at White Hall High School in his native Arkansas according to the 'Sentinel-Tribune'.
Former coaches and teammates are paying tribute to the athlete on social media. Tom Brady took to social media and shared: "We lost a great man. Thank you for everything Ryan. Praying for the Mallett family and all their loved ones tonight."
