"Spider-Man" star Tom Holland (26) has chosen to turn his back on social media for the time being. The British actor says goodbye to Instagram and Twitter for the sake of his mental health.
Tom Holland has around seven million followers on Twitter and almost ten times as many on Instagram (as of August 2022). However, fans on social media might have taken things a bit too far and made the actor more than uncomfortable with their comments.
In an Instagram video, we see Tom confessing that he finds his massive online presence "overwhelming" and has chosen to delete his social media apps from his phone.
"So I've been trying to make this video for about an hour now, and for someone that has spent that last 13, 14 years, however long I've been acting…I cannot seem to say what I need to say without 'um-ing' and 'ah-ing' every five minutes" the actor begins to say in his video.
