Tom Hardy, Peaky Blinders star, has had a meteoric rise to fame since he first broke into Hollywood in the 2000s. From supervillains to gangster twins, Tom has had an incredible run so far on the screen. This is Tom Hardy!
Tom Hardy, Peaky Blinders Star's Rise To Fame
Tom Hardy was born on September 15th, 1977, in Hammersmith, London to a painter and novelist parents. He studied at Richmond Drama School and the Drama Centre London as a young lad, idolizing greats like Gary Oldman. He has always been incredibly handsome, and at the age of 21, he won The Big Breakfast's Find Me a Supermodel competition before he first landed the role in Band of Brothers and Black Hawk Down.
He continued to gain attention in hits like RocknRolla where he played charming gay gangster "Handsome Bob", and even performed on stage like in The Long Red Road, directed by the late great Philip Seymour Hoffman! Then, in 2010, Tom won a BAFTA Rising Star award for his portrayal of "Eames" in his first (but not last) Christopher Nolan film Inception. He went on to star in Warrior, This Means War, and Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight series as supervillain "Bane". It was this role that really shot him into the public eye.

Tom was once married to producer Sarah Ward for a short few years before divorcing in 2004 and having a son with his girlfriend Rachael Speen in 2008. They too separated until he struck up his beautiful romance with actress Charlotte Riley whom he met on the set of Wuthering Heights. The two married in July 2014 and had a son in 2015 and another boy in 2018!
