Alix Earle: The affair that created her blended family
TikTok is home to millions of people sharing details of their lives. Alix Earle (22) has gained an audience by giving her followers a look at her health, friends and family.
The online star grabbed attention with the story of how her family has changed over the years. She was born in 2000 to mom Alisa and dad Thomas Earle. They later had another daughter, Ashtin.
Her parents got divorced when Alix was 8-years-old. That year, it was revealed that Alix's father was having an affair with Ashley Dupré, who was previously involved in a cheating scandal with Eliot Spitzer, the former Governor of New York.

Thomas and Ashley got married in 2013, and have since had three children together. Things were hard for Alix at first, but the TikToker tells 'ELLE' that everyone has forgiven each other and moved on as a family unit.
“We definitely have a very modern family. It’s normal for me to have my dad, my mom, and my stepmom all going on the same trips,” Alix explains. "Whatever’s happened in the past, we’ve all gotten past it as a family".
