That´s right! Seth Meyers joined the cast of SNL back in 2001. Throughout his ludicrous comedy career on the show, he impersonated the likes of many famous persona including John Kerry, Michael Caine, Carrot Top, Donald Trump, Tom Cruise and many many more! He has had one of the longest runs on the show, starring in his final episode on February 1st, 2013. Shortly after he left the show, NBC quickly seized the opportunity to cast Meyers for Late Night and that´s where he´s been ever since! You can tell that Seth did everything right!

We bet you weren´t surprised! Jimmy Fallon was a huge member of the SNL cast for the better part of 6 years. From 1998 until 2004, Fallon hosted the segment "Weekend Update", and as expected, he became an overnight success! The rest is history...

Back when SNL was still rather fresh, Robert Downey Jr. was a part of the younger cast that was recruited back in 1985. But, sadly due to the poor ratings he got throughout his run on the show, he as well as the rest of the newer cast, was dropped almost immediately. The icing on the cake was him being named one of the worst cast members on the show by Rolling Stone... tough break... then again things turned out pretty great for him. More than great if we're being honest...

Shocker! Eddie Murphy was a part of SNL! During his days doing stand up, Murphy would star on SNL regularly, and of course fans loved him! He went on to do bigger and better things which included starring in smash hits like the Beverly Hill Cop series and The Nutty Professor.

Everybody knows Mike Myers for his role as "Austin Powers", but before that Mike was "Wayne" in the SNL sketch Wayne's World which was later adapted into its own film franchise! How "shagadelic" is that?

Another stand up legend! But, as we know, legends aren´t born overnight! Chris Rock actually started out doing sketches for Saturday Night Live in the early 90´s. He moved on to star in several different movie franchises such as Grown Ups and Madagascar as well as producing and directing his own series, Everybody Hates Chris. Make sure to check out his latest comedy special!

Larry David is probably one of best examples of how much influence SNL has on the industry! Even though he was only on the show for a short period of time and only appeared in a select few sketches, he was able to use the spotlight to launch his career which led him to eventually teaming up with fellow stand up comedian Jerry Seinfeld to create the cult classic series, Seinfeld!

Bill Murray joined the cast of SNL back in 1976 and was on the show for the better part of 3 seasons. Well, do we really have to mention what happened to him afterwards? Ghostbusters happened... Enough said.

To be honest, Anthony Michael Hall was probably one of the youngest actors to join Saturday Night Live at the tender age of 17. His recurring characters on the show were "Craig Sundberg", "Idiot Savant" (an intelligent and talented teenager with a vacant expression and stilted speech), and "Fed Jones". His list of movie and TV roles stretch for miles nowadays, so even though he was dropped after one season of the show, he still got his money´s worth!

And last but not least, David Spade! Spade was a long standing cast member on SNL through thick and thin before moving on and starring in hits like Joe Dirt and Grown Ups! He does still appear on the show occasionally and we are always happy to see him!
