These Stars Revealed Their Worst On-Screen Kisses!

Colin Farrell and Kate Beckinsale:
Talk about an uncomfortable situation! While talking with Conan O’Brien, Farrell revealed that during the scene where both actors kiss in ‘Total Recall’, Farrell had to be extra careful when kissing Beckinsale: “She’s actually the director’s wife. She’s married to the director. [It was] moderately uncomfortable. Kissing her was a little bit dodgy ’cause the director, her husband, wasn’t kind enough to leave the room."

Emma Watson and Rupert Grint:
In HBO’s special, ‘Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return to Hogwarts’, both actors shared that they are very fond of one another, thinking of each other almost like brother and sister. So when they were asked to kiss in the final movie, they did not know how to even begin to kiss, and Watson had to awkwardly throw herself at him.

Millie Bobby Brown and Fin Wolfhard:
Brown and Wolfhard were co-stars of ‘Stranger Things’, and as you may recall they were both still young (they were both 15 at the time) during production, so when they had to kiss, Brown said she felt very “awkward”, as she told ‘Mirror’: “My dad was watching. My dad watched the whole thing, my whole family was there, and it was the most awkward thing in the world. It’s awkward.”

Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Pratt:
Although no one said the other was a bad kisser, Lawrence felt very uncomfortable about kissing Pratt since he was married to Anna Farris at the time. She told ‘The Hollywood Reporter’, “I got really, really drunk. But then that led to more anxiety when I got home because I was like, 'What have I done? I don't know.' And he was married. And it was going to be my first time kissing a married man, and guilt is the worst feeling in your stomach.”

Ryan Reynolds and Morena Baccarin:
Baccarin told ‘People’ that kissing Reynolds in ‘Deadpool’ was like “kissing a giant latex condom,” adding that “It basically just smells like rubber the entire time.” We wonder what Reynolds felt like after spending God knows how many hours in that suit.

Tobey Maguire and Kirsten Dunst:
The iconic ‘Spider-Man’ kiss where Maguire is hanging down in the rain seems to be much less romantic than it seemed in the film. In an interview with ‘Parade’, Maguire shared just how uncomfortable it was: “I was hanging upside down, it was really late at night, it was raining, and the whole time I had rainwater running up my nose. Then, when Kirsten rolled back the wet mask, she cut off the air completely.”

Jennifer Lawrence and Josh Hutcherson:
In an interview with ‘ABC’, Hutcherson revealed that a kiss with Lawrence in a particular scene in ‘Hunger Games’ was “slobbery”. He said: “So, she was upset, she was crying, and when she was crying there was fluid here [points to area of the face]…and then when we kissed it was just fluid.”

Kate Hudson and Matthew McConaughey:
During an episode of Gwyneth Paltrow’s podcast, Hudson shared that McConaughey was not necessarily a bad kisser but they always seemed to kiss under the wrong conditions. Her worst kiss with him was during ‘Fool’s Gold’, where “He just had snot all over his face.”

Megan Fox and Amanda Seyfried:
Some of these actors might have not liked the kiss or felt uncomfortable but Fox and Seyfried, who are both heterosexual, had to share a kiss in ‘Jennifer’s Body’. According to an interview she had with ‘Variety’, Fox said she was “slightly more comfortable” than Seyfried, but that both were “horrified” by the scene.

James Franco and Sienna Miller:
A more understanding situation where you would not enjoy a kiss is Miller and Franco’s kiss. According to ‘Marie Claire’, while filming ‘Camille’, Miller had a serious toothache, as Franco later explained: “I think we kissed once in that film and it wasn't at all intense—there was no rolling around or anything. Sienna's molar was giving her pain so she called the dentist!”
