During an appearance on the podcast Office Ladies, Jenna Fischer and her The Office co-star Angela Kinsey talked about the key moment in the series where "Pam" and "Jim" finally kiss at the office awards show, the Dundies, in season one. "After she gets her Dundie, 'Pam' kisses 'Jim' on the lips,” Fischer told Kinsey.
However, the 45-year-old actress added that she didn't consider it as their first kiss! Why? Simply because "Pam" was tipsy and she even kissed her boss "Michael Scott" (Steve Carell,) therefore it was definitely not serious.
What does John Krasinski think about "Pam" and "Jim's" first kiss?
Surprisingly, the A Quiet Place director believes that moment to be "Jim" and "Pam's" first kiss! Jenna Fischer first explained that "it was one of those moments where he moved his head in a way that I wasn’t expecting and I just followed through." However, she added that "John said that 'Jim,' who is not drunk, was very aware that they just kissed on the lips,” so apparently he took it in a very serious way!
What is Angela Kinsey's opinion about "Jim" and "Pam's" first kiss on The Office?
The 48-year-old actress understands both versions of the story. She said she sees "Pam" as the kind of person who gets affectionate after drinking, while he sees for "Jim" as a sober person who takes it very seriously when the person he's in love with kisses him. Jenna Fischer, however, insists that the on-screen couple's first kiss was featured on The Office's season 2-finale, when both were 100% aware of what has happening.
