'The Cosby Show': Bill Cosby Says Trial Was A Set Up - He Has No Remorse

For the first time since the beginning of his sentence, Bill Cosby has spoken out about his trial and his life in prison. His comments make it clear that he does not regret his actions and that he does not expect to be granted parole.

In 2018, Bill Cosby was sentenced to ten years in prison after being found guilty of three counts of aggravated indecent assault. Now, the 82-year-old actor and comedian has given an interview to the National Newspaper Publisher's BlackPressUSA.com.

It is the first time that Cosby has spoken out ever since he went to prison. His comments make it clear that he does not expect to be granted parole at any point:

"I have eight years and nine months left," he said in a phone interview. "When I come up for parole, they're not going to hear me say that I have remorse. I was there. I don't care what group of people come along and talk about this when they weren't there. They don't know."

Cosby went on and attacked the jurors from his trial: "It's all a set up. That whole jury thing. They were impostors." The comedian has previously claimed that during his trial prosecutors falsified evidence - a claim that has not yet been substantiated.

In total, about 60 women have come forward and accused Bill Cosby of drugging and violating them over the last 50 years. By the time that Cosby is released in 2028, he will be 91 years old.
