One of Melissa Rauch's first major roles in her career came when she joined the cast of hit television series The Big Bang Theory in 2009. Originally only hired for a guest role, Melissa was ecstatic when her character "Bernadette Rostenkowski-Wolowitz" was promoted to a series regular in season four.

While nerdy, "Bernadette" was just as pretty as her co-worker "Penny", and it wouldn't take long for "Bernadette" to win over the heart of "Howard Wolowitz". "Bernadette" became a fan favorite for her quirky personality, and sometimes dramatic outbursts, and Melissa Rauch would eventually be nominated for a Critics' Choice Television Award for Best Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series in 2013.

While playing "Bernadette" Melissa also took on a variety of other roles including parts in films such as I Love You, Man (2009) and The Bronze (2015), the latter of which she co-wrote and produced!
