The beloved Irwin family is expecting a grandchild!
On Tuesday, Bindi Irwin and Chandler Powell revealed that they're expecting their first child together. "Baby Wildlife Warrior due 2021," Bindi wrote on her Instagram reveal, as she and Chandler held an infant-sized khaki top. Here's how Bindi's mom, Terri, reacted to the big news.

On her personal Twitter page, Terri shared a loving message for her daughter and son-in-law. "This is the best day ever!" Terri wrote. "I am over the moon to announce that @BindiIrwin and @chandlerpowell9 are going to have a baby!"
"Words cannot express the love that is filling my heart," she continued, before adding a touching note about Bindi's late father, Steve Irwin. "While I wish that Steve was here to share this beautiful moment, I know that he would be so proud."

Terri, who alone has parented Bindi and son Robert since Steve's tragic death in 2006, shared a similar message on her daughter's wedding day earlier this year.
"I am so very happy for you both," she wrote on March 25, when Bindi and Chandler tied the knot. "Your love shines bright in a world that needs a lot of hope and love right now. I know that Steve would be incredibly proud. Love wins!"
