She makes an exception to this as she talks about her relationship. An absolute rarity! On Instagram she presents the first track of her new album 'Midnights'.
'Lavender Haze' is about falling in love. She also talks about what it was like to hide her relationship at the beginning and what this is like in times of social media.
"[...] Like my relationship for 6 years, we’ve had to dodge weird rumors, tabloid stuff. And we just ignore it. And so this song is sort of about the act of ignoring that stuff to protect the real stuff.” says the singer.
