- Taylor Swift is on a world tour
- It is one of the biggest tours of all time
- THIS is how she is affecting airfare
This is something fans won't soon forget. This generous gesture comes in the wake of a meteorological maelstrom that forced pop icon Taylor Swift to postpone her highly anticipated Buenos Aires concert from Friday to Sunday. Talk about "Bad Blood" with the weather!
Taylor keeps setting the bar higher for others
The airline's Twitter was all aflutter with the announcement, making it clear that Swift's safety-first decision was a catalyst for their policy pivot. "We know that your plans have changed," the airline tweeted with the grace of a "Love Story," allowing fans to adjust their flights without the financial sting until November 17, subject to seat availability.
Swift, ever the protective performer, took to Twitter with her trademark blend of concern and optimism. "I love a rain show but I’m never going to endanger my fans or my fellow performers and crew," she declared, proving once again why her fans are more loyal than a "Wildest Dream."
Meanwhile, US airlines like United are strutting their no-change-fee policy on international flights, while Delta, LATAM's partner in the skies, is all about that "situational flexibility." It seems the airline industry is learning a thing or two from Swift's playbook—when the storm hits, just "Shake It Off" and make it right for the fans!
So, Swifties, pack your bags (again) for an extended Argentine adventure, courtesy of LATAM Airlines' swift response to a Swift problem. It's not just a concert, it's an experience, and LATAM just made sure you won't miss a beat.
Fans are getting wilder
As Taylor's antics continue to draw fans to her concerts, some of them can get a bit unruly for the singer's taste. Taylor Swift was showered with affection this weekend, not only from beau Travis Kelce, but also from her fans in Argentina. The latter took their adoration too far, throwing obscure objects onstage during Swift's Sunday performance in Buenos Aires. The "Cruel Summer" singer politely pleaded with her fans, asking them not to continue with what has become a rampant concert trend.
"And just um – just because communication means having gentle, healthy boundaries, it really freaks me out when stuff gets thrown on the stage," she shared with her audience in a fan-recorded video, as she continued to transition into the "Evermore" portion of her set.
Also interesting:
On Saturday, during Swift's final song, "Karma," she intentionally changed the lyrics to reference the NFL tight end. "Karma is the guy on the Chiefs, coming straight home to me," she sang. Kelce's team, the Kansas City Chiefs, had a bye week, allowing the athlete to travel.
After the concert was over, Swift was spotted gleefully running into Kelce's arms and giving him a kiss. The video went viral online, with fans in disbelief at their public display of affection. Swift's previous six-year relationship with actor Joe Alwyn rarely produced similar public moments.
Fans can't enough of Taylor these days.
