'Suits': Catching Up With The Cast!

'Suits' is a legal drama series that focuses on the law firm of Pearson Hardman, which later changes its name to Pearson Specter and then Specter Litt, in New York City. The sharp-witted attorney "Harvey Specter" hires "Mike Ross", a young and gifted individual without any formal legal education, to work as his paralegal. The show delves into the intricacies of law, ethics, and interpersonal relationships within the firm, while also delving into the personal lives of the main characters.

Meghan Markle played "Rachel Zane". We highly doubt Markle needs an introduction. In case you don't know her, her character in 'Suits' was one of her most important roles. Before that, the now-Duchess of Sussex appeared in several Hallmark movies, dramas, and rom-coms.

Patrick J. Adams played "Mike Ross", Markle's on-screen lover, but his resume was already pretty solid. He had guest roles on 'Cold Case,' 'Strong Medicine,' 'Friday Night Lights,' 'Without a Trace,' 'Lost,' 'Heartland,' and 'NCIS.' He recently played "John Glenn" on 'The Right Stuff.'

Gina Torres portrayed "Jessica Pearson", the formidable managing partner of Pearson Hardman and later Pearson Specter in 'Suits.' When the series began, Torres was arguably the most acclaimed actress among the cast (although we wouldn't dare say that to Markle!). She has also appeared in a plethora of popular TV shows such as 'Westworld,' 'Firefly,' 'Alias,' '24,' 'The Shield,' 'Hercules: The Legendary Journeys,' and 'Xena: Warrior Princess.' After 'Suits,' Torres' character received a spin-off series titled 'Pearson,' which unfortunately only lasted one season. Recently, Torres has made appearances on 'Riverdale' and '9-1-1: Lone Star,' so be sure to keep an eye out for her.

Gabriel Macht portrayed "Harvey Specter", his most significant television role to date, in 'Suits' and also appeared in the spinoff series. However, he recently took a hiatus from acting to spend more quality time with his wife, Jacinda Barrett, and their two children, Satine and Luca.

Sarah Rafferty portrayed "Donna Paulsen", Harvey's former secretary-turned-wife in 'Suits.' The talented actress has also recently played the character "Suzanne" on 'Grey's Anatomy.' Apart from her role in 'Suits,' Rafferty has made guest appearances on various television shows, including 'Tremors,' 'Charmed', '8 Simple Rules,' 'Bones,' and 'Brothers & Sisters.'

Wendell Pierce played "Robert Zane". You probably recognize Wendell Pierce as the father of Meghan Markle's on-screen character. The actor appeared in several television series, such as 'Jack Ryan' (in the role of James Greer), 'Chicago P.D.' (as Councilor Ray Price) and 'The Watch' (as Death). Before 'Suits,' he starred in 'The Odd Couple,' 'Ray Donovan,' 'Treme,' 'Numb3rs,' and 'The Wire.'

Rick Hoffman portrayed "Louis Litt", a character with whom we have a love-hate relationship. He made a cameo appearance in the first episode of 'Pearson'. In his most recent role, he played "Doctor Swerlow" in 'Billions', but he has an extensive resume with other notable credits such as 'Hostel,' 'The Condemned,' 'Cellular,' 'Blood Work,' 'The Bernie Mac Show,' and 'Samantha Who?'

Amanda Schull portrayed "Katrina Bennett", the adored fifth-year associate in 'Suits,' but she is a familiar face on television. Prior to her role in the legal drama, she appeared in shows such as 'One Tree Hill,' 'Pretty Little Liars,' '12 Monkeys,' and 'Murder in the First.' Following the conclusion of 'Suits,' Schull shifted her focus to starting a family. In February 2020, she and her husband George Wilson welcomed their first child.

The drama 'Suits' first aired on the USA network in 2011 with many actors and actresses who were not well known at the time. Throughout its seasons, the series did not hesitate to win over some genuine fans and it certainly remains a series worth revisiting.
