Motsi Mabuse was born on April 11th, 1981 in South Africa during Apartheid where she honed her craft of dance against all odds. She and her sister Oti Mabuse earned their way up the ranks and competed internationally and moved to Germany when she was 18 years old.
Strictly Come Dancing Motsi Mabuse And Dance Partner Evgenij Voznyuk
Motsi met her husband Ukrainian Evgenij Voznyuk through dance and competed with him for years, even winning the German Latin Dance Contest in 2013 with Evgenij. She was still married to her ex-husband until 2014 but the pair did not begin to actually date until after the marriage ended.

After 4 years of dancing together as friends, their friendship blossomed into romance. The two married in Mallorca in 2017 and have been inseparable ever since, even running a dance school together!
Let's Dance's Motsi Mabuse And Husband Evgenij Voznyuk
Evgenij has been her dance partner in many of the opening episodes of Let's Dance that Motsi is a judge for. The international family welcomed their daughter in August of 2018 and have been craving a second child ever since! Motsi often gushes about her beautiful family.
She travels weekly from Germany to Britain for Strictly Come Dancing and is asked about her husband's fathering skills. She is very proud of how Evgenij is as a father even saying "The thing is people always feel like when the man has the baby, the guy is babysitting, but it’s not, he’s also the dad."
