It turns out Paget Brewster was set on the path to love by Criminal Minds. She joined the popular series in 2006, and her co-star Matthew Gray Gubler was actually friends with Steve Damstra.
"It was because of [Matthew] that I met my husband [Steve] who was his best friend," Paget once said in an interview.
Specifically, some sources say Paget met Steve Damstra on Matthew Gray Gubler's 2011 movie Magic Valley. The two began dating and, soon enough, they were engaged.

Paget Brewster shared the big news in March 2013. "It's jade," she tweeted, with a photo of her engagement ring. "And he's the best. Wait for the best, ladies, wait until you're 44 if that's what it takes!"
About a year-and-a-half later, Paget and Steve said "I do" at a ceremony in Los Angeles. And guess who officiated the wedding? The matchmaker himself: Matthew Gray Gubler. The big day was Nov. 28, 2014.
After the wedding, Matthew Gray Gubler wrote online: "Had the unique pleasure of getting to officiate the marriage of 2 of my best friends and now i have minister fever."
Steve Damstra and Paget Brewster have a bit of an age gap at 13 years apart, but they make a great couple.
