Sophia Rose Stallone Heart Surgery

Sophia Rose Stallone was born on August 27, 1996, and she is the oldest daughter of Sylvester Stallone and Jennifer Flavin.

Sophia Rose Stallone was born with a hole in her heart, and at just two months old she had to undergo surgery to save her life and she had to live under strict care. 

Sylvester's son Sage was also born with heart issues and tragically the same year Sophia had open-heart surgery, Sage passed away from his heart issues. He died of coronary artery disease that caused a heart attack.Sage was only 36 years old.

After staying on a strict diet and care, Sophia had to return to the operating room at age 16 for open-heart surgery in 2012. That was the same year she lost her half-brother Sage. Sophia told The Telegraph, "It forced me to grow up, seeing my mum and dad freaking out the way they did. Watching them crying and looking so terrified meant that I had to hold it together, and when I was getting a little woozy just before, I remember looking at mum and dad crying and saying to them, 'I love you and I will come out of this.'"

After her second surgery, her life became healthier, but the care remains the same, even her father, Sylvester Stallone, did not allow his daughter to receive visits from boys at home.

Sophia bounced back quickly after her heart surgery and graduated from the prestigious school USC!She told The Telegraph, "I can do everything now. I just have these scars. And, actually, I feel like a better person today because of what happened" which made her "more of an old soul, I guess."

Despite their father's protests, Sophia and her sisters Sistine and Scarlett collectively earned the title of "Miss Golden Globes" in 2017!

Although Sophia has appeared in different films and television shows, she prefers to follow in the footsteps of her mother, Jennifer Flavin, as a model, rather than being an actress like her father.

Sophia told Paris Match, "Every day I think of my heart. I eat really healthy, and as I get more tired than normal, I have to be very careful when doing sports."So Sophia knows her limits and takes care of herself better than most people her age might!

Sophia has built an incredible influencer career, earning major brand deals and even launched her own beauty line!
