Every family's worst nightmare became a sad reality on July 19 for US soccer player Brad Knighton. His daughter Olivia Knighton died in a boating accident. The American goalkeeper announced her passing on Instagram. The eleven-year-old's father wrote this on the social media platform:
Olivia was taken too soon
"There are no words to express the depth of our profound grief and sorrow in this moment," Brad said. "Our family is still in shock at the sudden and tragic loss of our beautiful and brilliant Olivia," Brad posted. According to the South Carolina Department of Natural Resources, the tragedy happened while Olivia was on a boat with 11 other people!
