Tony Christie announces one last tour ahead of retirement
After more than 50 years on stage, Tony Christie announces the end of his career. The singer does not give a reason for this, but Tony recently announced that he has been suffering from dementia since 2021.
However, music has been a great strength for him while coping with the illness, he revealed in a 'BBC' interview. He also said he tries to focus on other things.
"Ignore it, move on and do what you do," Tony said.
However, Tony Christie does not want to stop just like that. He has planned one last tour for his fans, which will take him to a total of eight German cities. The concerts will start in May 2024.
