Sienna Miller is being reflective of her heartwrenching experience in 2005 when she was engaged to superstar Jude Law. It was the affair that made headlines all over the world with Sienna at the center of it all.
Sienna Miller Talks Jude Law Cheating Scandal
Renown actor Jude Law and Sienna Miller first became a couple after meeting on the set of Alfie and ended up becoming engaged in 2004. Then in 2005, Jude's affair with his son's nanny, Daisy Wright hit the headlines.
He had been caught by one of his sons which ended up getting leaked to the press and Daisy herself released a tell-all about their salacious affair. Jude issued a public apology to his fiancé but the two ultimately split up because of the affair. Though they rekindled their relationship a few years later, they later split again in 2011.
Now, Sienna has opened up in an interview with The Daily Beast about her experience in 2005 performing theater while the news broke. She explained, "That was one of the most challenging moments I hope I'll ever have to experience. Because with that level of public heartbreak, to have to get out of a bed let alone stand in front of 800 people every night, it’s just the last thing you want to do."
"It was really hard. And the other thing was, it was at the height of all that paparazzi madness, and in London where there was an epidemic of bad behavior. They knew where I would be every night." Apparently, the situation was shocking to her Sienna blacked out for a long stretch of time.
"There’s a whole six weeks of that experience that I don’t remember. I have no recollection of it. People who came to see me said we had dinner, and I don’t remember. I was in so much shock over it all. And I’d really just begun. I was only 23. But if you get through that, you feel like you can get through anything."
The brave 21 Bridges actress persevered through the heartbreak, "There was so much noise that it was hard to think straight and focus on my work, which I always took very seriously. It ate everything else. I look back on it and wonder how I did get through it — but I did."
Jude Law married his girlfriend Phillipa Coan last year and the two had his sixth child together. Sienna has a gorgeous 8-year-old daughter with her ex Tom Sturridge and is currently dating Lucas Zwirner and has happily put her past with Jude behind her.
