In 2020 Shannen Doherty (50) was diagnosed with breast cancer again. She beat cancer in 2015, but now the cancer is back and this time, it's incurable.

Shannen Doherty: She's not giving up

Her cancer has already reached the fourth stage and is therefore well advanced.A lot of people who get diagnosed with Stage 4, they sort of get written off. It’s assumed that they cannot work or they can’t work at their full capacity, and that is not true,", she explains further on Good Morning America.

"That is something that I would really like for people to stop assuming and give us a chance to prove them wrong." But the 50-year-old maintains her optimism and joy - she doesn't want to mope around. She's still working as an actress, has projects lined up and doesn't want to be labeled sick.
