Emmy Rossum Today
Fans were devastated to learn in 2018 that Emmy Rossum would not be returning after the ninth season of Shameless. Following contract disputes that were eventually resolved, Emmy decided it was time to leave the series. The departure has freed Emmy up to take on other roles including as the title character in the new limited series Angelyne.
The now 35-year-old actress has also appeared in an episode of the hit Amazon series Modern Love and when she's not acting, she enjoys spending time with her husband of four years, writer and director Sam Esmail.
