According to 'BBC News', Westwood showed no remorse when the details of his crimes were read out at Wolverhampton Crown Court.

Alexander Westwood abused his celebrity status

Judge Neil Chawla emphasized that Westwood used his celebrity status and low profile to take advantage of impressionable young people. "This was a campaign of sexual offending that lasted just over a decade and had devastating consequences for the five victims," Chawla said, according to 'The Independent'. Westwood's behavior was described as predatory and calculated. He manipulated his students by promising them to further their acting careers while abusing them at the same time.
