Anderson Cooper has shared a new baby Wyatt update! On Friday, the first-time father shared a new selfie with his 4-month-old, who is the spitting image of his dad. Here's the latest picture of the TV host and journalist with his son.
Anderson Cooper: New baby pictures with son Wyatt
"My son will be five months old in less than two weeks," Cooper shared in his Instagram update. "He is such a happy baby even though he has started teething."
Cooper, 53, went on to name some of his newborn's habits. "He loves being read to and so far Dr. Seuss is his favorite, particularly One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish. Ok, that's my favorite," he joked, "but he does seem to like it a lot."
Anderson Cooper became a father in 2020
Cooper welcomed baby Wyatt Morgan in April 2020 by a surrogate. At the time, the new dad revealed the news on CNN, where he understandably got a little emotional. Since then, we last saw Wyatt at 10 weeks old, in two father-son portraits from July.
Cooper is no longer with longtime partner Benjamin Maisani, but he's said that the pair will co-parent Wyatt. The child is named after Cooper's late father, Wyatt Emory Cooper, and he revealed that he would have named a baby girl after his mother, Gloria Vanderbilt, who passed away in 2019. The Anderson Cooper 360 host also marked the one-year anniversary of his mother's passing with a tribute earlier this year.
