Scheana Shay Says She And John Mayer Were In A "Throuple" After His Split With Jennifer Aniston

Scheana Shay revealed some juicy details surrounding her past dating life, and some A-list celebrities are involved! The reality star opened up on a podcast about her dating situation with none other than John Mayer.

Sheana Shay made quite the name for herself on the hit reality TV series Vanderpump Rules, oftentimes fitting the narrative of a boy-crazy party girl!

In a new podcast, Shay revealed some behind the scenes details of some A-list celebrity parties in which she met Hollywood playboy, John Mayer!

Scheana opens up about her crazy dating life

Vanderpump Rules star Scheana Shay opened up on the Flashbacks podcast about her past dating experiences, including the time she and John Mayer were in a "throuple" with her roommate, Stacie Adams.

Shay revealed that she met Mayer in 2008 following his public breakup with actress Jennifer Aniston. Shay said that she and her roomie ended up "getting wasted" with Mayer and Aniston at the Grand Havana Room she was working a private function at.

"Every time they did a shot, they would get me a shot," she told the host.

"They invited me to go back to her place in the Palisades after for an after-party," she continued.

While she never ended up going back to Aniston's house that night, Shay explained that Mayer went back to the Havana Grand Room a few weeks later following his split from Aniston.

Shay said that her roommate and herself often would hangout with Mayer adding, "This went on for about six months, that we hung out. We would go to his house... It just became, you know, kind of the three of us."

"We had a little throuple going on. But then there was, like, me and another her. Everyone always had attention," she said.

"I definitely got a little jealous towards the end of it because I knew he liked her more," Shay confessed.

"And I was like, 'Wait, I brought you into this, like and now you're getting more attention than I'm getting, like what's up with that?' And then even after him and I stopped talking, they continued talking, and there were like a lot of things — like her and I had like a year of just awkward friendship falling out, but then came full circle a year later and ... have never been closer," she said.

Shay then went on to say that she ended up getting fired from the Grand Havana Room after another coworker overheard her talking about the relationship, as employees weren't allowed to "fraternize" with patrons.

Shay then said it was all over the tabloids, but it all worked out in the end since she got a job at Villa Blanca, owned by none other than Lisa Vanderpump.

"So if it wasn't for John Mayer, I wouldn't be on Vanderpump Rules," she said.
