- Johansson reveals that she used to smoke
- She says she doesn't want her kids copying her
Scarlett Johansson doesn't want her children to know about one of her former habits! The actress was a guest on The Drew Barrymore Show on Wednesday, and during her appearance, she answered some personal questions as part of a special segment.
Johansson says she thought smoking was "cool"
Johansson took part in a Q&A segment called "The Final 5," which saw Barrymore ask her what she doesn't want her kids to know about their mom. "I used to smoke when I was younger and I'm so ashamed," Johansson said. She said that while she once thought smoking was "cool," it's something she "never, ever, ever" wants to see her daughter do.
"You forbid your kids from doing things and then they don't do them," she explained. The actress, who is married to Saturday Night Live's Colin Jost, has two children. While her 7-year-old daughter Rose is from a previous marriage, Johansson and Jost welcomed son Cosmo into the world last year.

Johansson has talked about raising a daughter while also working as an action star. Having grown up in Manhattan, she mentioned that a perk of raising her children in the same place is how she's able to "do the stuff and see the things you did when you were a kid."
