HBO announced that the 48-year-old actress and comedian Sarah Silverman is heading back to the premium subscription network! HBO has ordered a new stand-up comedy special and a late-night series pilot from Silverman, who in 2013 won an Emmy Award for her HBO comedy special We Are Miracles.
Sarah Silverman, who often addresses controversial topics and social taboos, revealed that nothing will be off the table in the -still untitled- upcoming projects! "I’m as passionate talking about my face-washing routine as I am talking about why billionaires cost us money,” she explained.
What has Sarah Silverman been doing lately?
Sarah Silverman's most recent stand-up special A Speck of Dust was released on Netflix in 2017. The New Hampshire native is currently filming Universal's romantic comedy Marry Me, alongside Jennifer Lopez. Silverman is also working on the adaptation of her book The Bedwetter: Stories of Courage, Redemption, and Pee into a musical, expected to be released in 2020.
Official premiere dates for Sarah Silverman's upcoming HBO projects have not yet been revealed.
